Hungry? Info on the Fleming Food Bank

It's tough to focus in class if you're always hungry.  The Fleming Food Bank is located in the office next to Tim Horton's. It will be open as of October 1st.

There are also fresh produce boxes and "staples" boxes (bread, apples, cheese, etc.) that can be purchased through a sign up system at a reasonable subsidized cost. This is open to anyone.

If you've been struggling to get enough to eat this semster, stop by on Monday to see how they can help out!

Get Involved and Try Out for the First Aid Support Team!

The First Aid Support Team (FAST) is a student volunteer organization which has been providing emergency medical response on Fleming College Sutherland Campus since 2002. The team averages 70 calls a year. FAST is dispatched through the Campus Security Officers to any medical emergency on-campus, responding in three person teams.

First Aid Support Team Tryout Information
The FAST tryouts will be Monday, September 17th in room 550 at 5:00 PM It will consist of three pre-planned scenarios and a written test. You require only comfortable footwear and a copy of your Standard First Aid CPR-C.
