In this program, you will experience an integrated learning
environment. The topics you see will span across your courses in
biology, chemistry, math, and professional issues in health science.
You will learn how to apply your knowledge in labs and expand your
understanding through discussions and projects.
The College Health Science option of the General Arts and Science program is designed to prepare students for entry into college programs such as:
- Massage Therapy
- Paramedic
- Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant
- Practical Nursing
- Biotechnology Technologist Forensics
- Fitness and Health Promotion
- Health Information Management
- Pharmacy Technician
Fleming College has reserved a number of seats in the above-noted programs
for qualified graduates of the GHS program who have achieved an overall average
of 70% or higher over the duration of the College Health Science Option.
Information sessions regarding reserved seats and program application will be
held during the semester.
